And so begins the film I will be obsessing over for the next year.
Haha! That Guillermo Del Toro is a wily sumna-ma-B.
Also, if you’ve got an hour and a half you wish to kill, click here to see Guillermo’s splendid Q & A with director Edgar Wright and selected cast of the film.

There’s too much to say, ultimately, so I’m forced to keep this brief. Each and every frame is uncannily perfect. Each and every word is undeniably spot-on.
The fight scenes? A blast!
The cast? A double blast! Mary Elizabeth Winstead proves she really is the perfect dream girl. Ellen Wong is a born star, so adorable. Allison Pill deadpans perfectly.
The music? Freakin’ epic! Nothing could stoke me more than finally having my eardrums rattled by Sex Bob-Omb and seduced by The Clash at Demonhead.
All in all, probably the best film I’ve ever wanted to see and got to see. Edgar Wright is inhuman – no being of flesh and blood could possibly have mapped out such a vividly detailed tapestry of awesomeness.
Rating: The first time is all-around badassness. The second time is validation of all-around badassness. The third time is the real charmer. I’m in lesbians with this film.
Wanna get a leg up on the Scott Pilgrim action before heading to your local multiplex this weekend to fulfill your desire for some sweet eye candy? Well, now you can with this pretty awesome animated short chronicling our hero’s earlier years when he first met Kim Pine. Enjoy!
This is a poster for a fictional film that fictional actor Lucas Lee played by real actor Chris Evans in the real film Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World is the star of and it’s funny and I like it. Got it? Good. Now, check out the other posters, too, for some more funny.
