Have you ever wondered what Romeo and Juliet would look like set in the world of The Warriors? If so, then it’s your lucky day, compliments of Best Coast’s new music video for their single “Our Deal.” The video is helmed by Drew Barrymore and stars a veritable grab-bag of up-and-coming stars. Fun times!
I had kind of resigned myself to the notion that I would automatically be pumped for Let Me In, the American remake of Sweden’s child-vampire flick Let the Right One In, simply because the original got such great reviews and international buzz (I still have yet to see the original, just for the record). The presence of Kick Ass’ Chloe Grace Moretz (that film’s Hit Girl, if you couldn’t tell) didn’t hurt, either. Having now seen the trailer for the film, I can’t help but resign myself to the notion that this is just another vampire flick. Still, like the seemingly-innocent blood-sucker that leads the film, I can’t judge a book by its cover. We’ll see.
