Last night, I was fortunate enough to take part in a screening of Sidney Lumet’s Academy Award-winning Network. Not only was it great to see it on the big screen - off a 35mm print, no less - but I can now officially join the club and attest that it’s one of the best combinations of writing and performance ever filmed. Think Sorkin if he wrote monologues performed by the titans of Hollywood’s golden age.
