Even if it takes until 4:00am, I love the journey of sifting through random notes of story ideas and lines of dialogue to find coherent plot points for a script. It’s especially enjoyable when people who get me are there to make sense of it all. I will finish this outline in the spring and it will be the greatest thing I’ve written. I have to. Unnecessarily dramatic pressure? Sure. But I feel this one. It’s going to be good and I’m going to have no reservations about pride or ego in knowing that it’s good. It’s the beginning of a new year - things are going to get better.
